About me:   Born and raised in Durham, NC.  My love of horse started when I was 4 and my uncle bought "us kids" a pony.  I bought my first Quarter Horse when I was 17 without my parent's knowledge. They were never into the horse thing.  I broke and showed that horse and her first baby until duties of a dance mom/taxi service for daughters Jessica and Alex,  got too time consuming. Now Michael, my husband of 27 years, is retired and that's his job.  I was away from riding and showing for over a decade until a friend thankfully got me hooked again.  I was away so long that when I looked at a show bill, I had to check the rule book to find out what "Select" was.  And now I am one.  Glad to be back and have Rickey helping me.
